Three Arsenal players commit Future to the club as Dani Ceballos extend loan deal

Arsenal have announced David Luiz has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, while loanees Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari have penned permanent deals with the club.

Veteran defender Luiz's deal with Arsenal was set to expire at the end of the month, and there had been doubts about whether the club would want to keep him following a series of erratic performances, including being sent off 25 minutes after coming on as a substitute against Manchester City last week.

However the 33-year-old's experience - plus the lack of viable alternatives amid the coronavirus pandemic - has seen Arsenal move to keep him at the club.

Meanwhile,Pablo Mari signs a 4-year deal at Arsenal.

Despite his recent injury which has ended his Premier League campaign, Arsenal have also signed Pablo Mari to a 4-year deal. That’s confirmed by David Ornstein.

On Monday, Flamengo’s Marcos Braz confirmed that Mari has joined Arsenal on a permanent basis. He said:

Pablo has been sold. We know he suffered an unfortunate injury, but the case is closed. At the right time, the figures of this transfer will appear on our balance sheets.

Since joining Arsenal on loan from Southampton, Cedric Soares has yet to feature for the Gunners.

The Portuguese right-back has been injured for the entirety of his stay in north London.

Yet, despite his lack of action, Atheltic reporter David Ornstein has confirmed that Cedric has agreed a 4-year deal to move to Arsenal.

The 28-year-old defender had been set to return to Southampton on June 30, when his loan deal expired.

Finally, the Guardian believe that Arsenal have agreed to keep Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the Premier League season.
